Update- all patients doing well-Lanie is out of surgery - Geri had a good night - sat her up and will walk her later today-I am sitting in surgery waiting room- they just started Lanies IV and will be starting surgery soon-it shouldn't take long- I also wanted to say Geri, my friend/ SIL , surgery yesterday went well. They removed the kidney with the malignant tumor. She was medicated so in and out of sleep. I will check on her again later today and give update.

Well it is now Thursday morning here as I read this post which was posted 7 and a half hours ago, so I'm assuming everything has gone to plan. Keeping you all in my daily prayers, love Chris

Thank you Chris. Yes both the surgeries went well and now they just have to heal. Lanie is home now. Hers was a day surgery but Geri will be in the hospital about a week. We still have to wait for her report if the cancer was contained.

Wow you have a lot going on, and I was going to ask about springtime in your gorgeous yard. Bless you!

My yard is not gorgeous this year. The grass is being mowed in between the rains but the beds are being neglected. I just told a son-in-law, when he dropped off the month old baby for us, that Mother's day wouldn't cost a thing if they got me what I really wanted....someone to tend/ weed out my flower beds. We were sitting on the porch and when he asked what was in one of the beds, I said weeds!!!!

Wow Toogie--had no idea all this going on. Great news you've passed along though. Bet you are exhausted. Prayers for both girls! Hope your leg is going through all this as well.

I think the leg like to surprise me, to see how big it can swell each day :( I am walking better and may move up to a cane, when I go back to doctor the 10th. I still go to therapy 3 times a week, about 40 miles round trip. It takes 3 of my mornings each week and this week I had to go to a specialist I see, that is a 4 hour round trip. Pretty trying week, with Lanie's surgery going on too. And today we had Gus. Our first time to keep him, but Avery's class was going on a trip to see Disney's Frozen on Ice, and mom and Nora got tickets to go too. I had tears in my eyes as mom showed a video clip of Nora singing with, "Let it Go", or whatever the name is. She saw her favorite MINNIE MOUSE !!! She was so animated telling about everything. They just left, but Gus was good and took a bottle well. I read about your daughter too. It's so many auto immune diseases, was wondering which one she had. I hope she is still breathing better. We are so helpless, when our children have health problems.
