Saved from the wastebasket. I made this little bag some time ago but the butterfly design I used didn't turn out like I wanted it to so I kind of tossed it aside. Then I got this flower design with a bag I purchased from OPW and I decided to make the flower and cover up the original design. Instead of using a button I used a Kam snap. The first picture is the original with the snap already in place and second picture is the final result.

I went to OPW site to find the bag, which designer is it by? I found it and was glad to see it is still on sale, only $3 for the flower bag. I ordered all three sizes. How did you do the zipper at an angle? Or is that a different pattern? If so, which designer?

As I said, this was a bag that I had made but was not happy with the butterfly design that I had added. The pattern for the bag itself is one of my favorites and I have made it several times, adding other designs or just making it without embellishments. The bag is #3674-ITH obilique zipper purse by Sue, from mygardened.com. The butterfly design was not part of that pattern, but something I added.

I actually like the shape of this bag better than the one that goes with the flower. And I'm not too fond of how the zipper goes in that one either.
