I am planning two new projects. One will be a little purse to put the Church Offering in [until I get to bank it] and a zipper pouch with a red cross or such for the Medical bag at our local Country Women's club-room. Ideas are welcome from cute members.

Are you looking for ITH designs, embroidery design suggestions, or how to make a zip bag with regular sewing?

Nothing can beat a design of a cross, for the church money bag, but a dove or anything church related, would look nice, too.

Do you know about what size you are needing?

I don't seem to be much help, do I? -Toogie

In my files I have a 4x4 ITH bag with a medical alert design. I have no idea where it came from but the first 2 letters of the file are DT. That may be a clue for some Cutie to know where it came from. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks Bev for the info. I put a link up here but it didn't work so I took it down.…

Check their Facebook page, it is still there but you have to go pretty far down the page before you come to it.

there is a free 5x7 zipper bag at the sew forum, search ITH zipper bag. For the medical bag try making a box bag, there are lots of free tutorials on you tube and Toogie has made some of her own

The zippered pencil cases from DBS are for the 5x7 hoop. I have made several of these. Took the design apart and enlarged it to fit my 240x150mm hoop to use as a travel bag for hubby (left off all designs--but you could add any design to your liking). He loved it so much, he requested a second one!

sincere thanks to everyone for some very valuable input. I shall 'digest' it and see how I go. Won't be for a while as I am busy doing some hand-needle-turn applique for our Annual Table Day competition currently. xx
