Has anyone out there heard of the latest party's called "Sip and Paint"???Well all the seniors siped on pop and coffee lol .Each person pays $30. bucks and we each follow her and paint.I have never painted in my life so i was very impressed with how easy it was.What do you think??We all did the same thing and no two looked alike .Thanks for LQQKING!! Pretty good. I can't paint worth fiddly. My daughter had a birthday party with her friends where everyone did a painting. Sounds like the same thing.

here they call it painting with a twist, you get a glass of wine. i haven't tried it but I think you did great, You need to start a paint and sew class.

My brother and SIL did a class like this and had a wonderful time. You did a great job. I'm afraid I would be hopeless since I can't draw a straight line to save my life.

Carolyn, this is beautiful!! At first glance, the sun reminded me of the style of a Van Gogh painting. Perhaps there will be more painting in your future. Sounds like you had a great time.

I haven't heard of that party line.
Did something similar at a craft show.
The teacher gave the instructions and we diligently followed them. And yes, the same here - - Every painting turned out different. I didn't like mine, so hid it in the cupboard. :-)

Some years back they had a couple of Sip and Paint places in near by towns. Some of my nurse friends were going and it was wine they were sipping.. Looks like you had fun and I like what you painted. Glad you get the opportunity to do things like this. Lillian

Great Job and sounds like you had a fun time and are willing to continue learning a craft, that sounded like you had not thought you could create something beautiful and you were able to create a wonderful painting and willing to attempt to follow what the teacher was trying to teach the group. Years ago I did something simulair with : Bob Ross paintings, all same instructions same object and every painting was different.

Well my first impression was of Cherry Blossom time in Japan. It's a great way of painting but I think I'd prefer the wine instead of tea!! he he he. You did a great job and you had fun and isn't that what it's all about. Love Chris

Carolyn.... that is wonderful.... is it oil's..... I have oil painted before and it's not an easy thing to do... or it wasn't for me... My late Uncle was a great painter.....he had such beautiful paintings of almost anything you could think of.... he even painted old trucks, barns, etc..... he tried to teach me... but I wasn't anywhere as good as he was...... So.... .Great job from someone who have done a couple of them in my life........ :) Mechille
