Another idea ,some embroidery sites have gift certificates ,just check to see how long the certificate is valid for, that way you might be able to buy designs that you like when a sale is on.
Once I had a membership at Cute as well as one at Amazing Embroidery Designs at the same time,it was hard work to find time to download all the designs I liked ,in 6 months

What are your favorite sites? Go there and click on any tab that is something similar to "About this site". See if they offer gift certificates or cards. I'm not sure but I think Emblibrary offers them .too.. Also. think about sites like All Stitch and The Embroidery Store that sell threads, needles and stabilizers.
