Good evening/morning Cuties, I couldn't resist making an Aqua and hot pink purse for Ophelie. I'll make a Purple and Green one for Delphi sometime tomorrow. I love making these and I want to thank the girls who made the original ones. These can be bought from Embroidery Delight at OPW (Oregon Patchwork). Be careful, they are very addictive. I've only made two flowers on this one so far as I'm tired (it's 11.15pm Tuesday evening). I'll make another larger flower tomorrow.

I found it a bit fiddly trying to put the button on the front. I ended up just sewing it on the front of the fabric i.e. not through to the back of the fabric because my hand couldn't get down inside the purse that far. I'll have to make sure it's on securely so Ophelie won't pull it off. I know - I could put on a Kamsnap. Thanks for looking, love Chris

2. Back view with Aqua fabric.

very addictive,so many color combinations you can choose and you can make them quickly after the first few, just slap them right together. Just the turning takes a bit of time.

You're right Bev, I've got so much fabric to choose from, it's finding the right button etc. which makes it too. I love that yellow one you made. The purse itself is easy it's the flower shapes and cutting them out that takes the time. Thanks for the inspiration to make them. Love Chris

A lovely purse. When you use only two flowers could you sew them on when still in the hoop as they don't extend beyond the sewing line.

Even if you didn't sew the flowers on in the hoop you can certainly sew the button before you sewed the back on in the hoop.

I was thinking that I'll sew the button on before I put the backing on! Love Chris

Beautiful purse. I love the fabrics you've chosen.
I bought this design too, but no time to embroider it.
Love to see all the beautiful purses.

Nicely done Chris---the girls will love these. I love seeing them all. Wished my brain could work like the people that can come up and create designs like this.

Hi Patti, yes I think they will love them. I haven't got a spatial brain, failed maths miserably in high school and left when I was 15!!!! Now when I do quilting etc. I use Geometry and that was my worst subject! Go figure. Love Chris

I was going to suggest you sew the flower on before you added the back while it was still in the hoop...and then I read down further...the girls will love these I am sure!

Yes Kim, I will have to remember that - it makes it much easier - especially with my large hands! Love Chris
