Hi Cuties,

I wanted to show you this and tell you to check your local Walmart, for reduced seasonal fabrics. I don't have any immediate plans for this, but for 43 cents a yard, I'll make something. It's by Waverly and 100% cotton. I think it would be good for a holiday apron, tote, etc. It had 5 yards, as the ticket shows, for $2.15
This is one way I add to my stash-lol- by getting reduced or on sale.
My sister's Walmart, in another state, reduced their christmas fabric not long after christmas. Mine was slow...

Lucky you. My nearest Walmart never has deals like this. They have a mark-down bin but I have never found anything there that was cheap enough to tempt me, usually only discounted 20/25%.

I don't know about the other Cuties, but buying new fabric to add to my stash just makes me feel good. It's my inside Squirrel in me, I think..

Wow.....that's wonderful.... I looked at our local Walmart last week, and saw there was Christmas material.... and looked, and it was Still reg. price... 4 dollars and something I almost fell over... I couldn't believe they hadn't marked it down yet.... but I will also keep looking and will look at the bigger Walmart we go to and see if theirs is marked down.
Thanks for the reminder. Mechille :)

My daughter made gift bags one year out of fabric, tied the tops. Then when we opened them, she collected all her bags! But we keep getting a gift every year in one of those bags! now it's funny!

It is mostly on just the seasonal, hardly ever on regular fabric.
