This is one of the "Lovely Frames" designs that are from Basketkase. I made a huge potholder, to hold the big casserole dishes or lasagne pan. There is a layer of insul bright and a layer of warm and natural batting inside. The backing is what you see on the edges all around. I just make the backing about 3 inches larger than my potholder front design and turn all 4 edges under, iron, and fold to front... then pin pin pin! so I don't get too many puckers. I also stitch in the ditch around the frames. I love the mendhi inspired designs! Vicki did a beautiful job digitizing this, as she always does!

This is gorgeous!
I just went and looked at the design. Although it is so beautiful, at over 30,000 stitches, I know I would never finish a large sized quilt! Not in me.....

hmmm, it did not seem like 30,000 stitches! But, with only 5 color changes, it went super fast. Thanks for commenting, Toogie! Hugs and Flowers!
