A short time ago bevintex posted pictures for a bag from kreative kiwi. Of course I had to have it too. Here is my interpretation of it. It can be made two ways. The first way is done entirely in the hoop and I think that it was the way Bev did hers, but with the second option only the flap is done in the hoop and then finished with a regular machine so it can be made larger than the ith version. I made the flap in the 5x7 hoop but I wanted a bigger bag so I made mine 9 inches deep. It is deep enough to hold a checkbook or a wallet. This is a great idea for those of us that are limited by a smaller hoop size. Because I put my initial on it I didn't have much room to put a snap on so next time I will do that differently. I quilted my front and back pieces before I started to assemble the purse. The design does not include any quilting files for the second version done with a regular machine. I just used something from my files. I made the strap long enough so I can use it as a cross body bag when I don't want to carry a big bag. The bag is completely lined with hidden seams. The tutorial is very good so even if you prefer an ITH hoop bag this is not hard to do.
