Are any of you getting emails that say to change your passwords everywhere because Yahoo, Google accounts have had security breech, been hacked?

Yes, I got one. I searched for the breach in the news and found a little information. It doesn't hurt to change your passwords regularly anyway to thwart hackers.

I also got the warning and better safe than sorry... I changed my passwords at Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, it was probably time anyhow.

Are you positive the notices were legitimate? The scammers are getting very sophisticated. I've not had any such email from my Google acct, but I would go directly to Google site to find out.

Yes _ I just changed most of mine.Am going to change the rest of them today. There was a warning sent out from Kim Komando (a computer guru - famous in the US for her suggestions). So when I read it was from her, I did it. (Not real crazy about changing passwords, but understand it really was necessary this time.) She said to change all Yahoo, Google, and Microsoft account passwords. And of course all my email accounts are under one or the other of those.

It was on the world news here last night. They said you should change your passwords.
