A couple of weeks ago I posted a towel for a friend who is 90 very soon. There was a comment about perhaps making a picture of the design. I though about this and decided that the design was so fantastic (digitized by basketkase) that I made a cushion. I am absolutely thrilled. I am going to give my friend the towel as well. Thank you Vicki so much.
UPDATE: I have just given the cushion and towel to the recipient and it was exactly as I was expecting. She burst into tears and was very overcome. Thank you Vicki from the bottom of my heart for making this so special.

This is a perfect image of one of the most beautiful parts of my country in Hampshire UK and a very interesting place to visit, being steeped in maritime history going back to the era of Nelson's navy (www.bucklershard.co.uk). The fact that this work was digitised by that Vicki lady adds weight to its beauty. She is a very clever girl, that is for sure. It is interesting to note that Vicki should have been working on the image of a location very close to the sea and with it, the attraction of seagulls. I only mention this because Vicki has a current interest in seagulls and a past experience of bird droppings. Sorry Vicki...........I just couldn't resist letting the cat out of the bag!!

Dennis - just how wonderful is it to have you here on Cute. We have all missed you so very much. I do so hope you are feeling better, especially now that your summer is on it's way. The house on the cushion is actually here in Knysna South Africa but Buckler's Hard had many memories for the owners of this lovely home.
I knew that I should have asked the question before putting pen to paper.............silly man that I am! What is for sure is that you have some beautiful houses there in Knysna. Your friend will be delighted with this thoughtful gift.
