I did some recycling today, tried on some jeans while at the shoppe. I didn't realize that pockets over 2-3 inches deep were an option. I love deep pockets and when I purchase jeans, hate to have to sew in new pockets. Has any one else noticed this or is it just my pet peeve?

I too hate them and don't like to put keys, etc in the back pockets when out in a crowd.

Thanks for responding, I'm with you on anything in the pockets. if you sit down you run the risk of it all falling out.
I run the risk of squishing it. lol
I wasn't going there but than again their is that possibility. lol

I guess I am lucky. Haven't needed new jeans for a while. I can still put my cell phone in the back pockets.

Yes you are. I'll be adding some deeper pockets in the next little while.

Yes, I have newer ones with really short pockets. I have a skirt that has fake pockets, that's even more frustrating cuz I need those pockets!

I guess it costs more to make a normal pocket. I'm with you gotta have a pocket.
oh yes fake pockets look nice but are so frustrating and irritating when you do need a pocket...
If only the manufacturers would realize real women like pockets. I envy the men and their clothing options in some respects. We genuine ladies need pockets. How about cargo-Pocketed jeans, pants, and sweats!!??

I have noticed this trend towards shallower pockets and detest the style. They are totally impractical for keeping anything safe and I simply refuse to buy this trendy stuff. That said, it doesn't appear to matter how deep my pockets are, my wife still manages to steal all my loose change (cash) on those rare occasions that I have any money to myself!!!

So good to have you "back" here...I have certainly missed both you and your sense humor...
Thank you..........................you are too kind. I have missed my time with you all but hopefully I can spend a little time catching up with you all.
I see you are like my husband and have failed to read the fine print in the marriage vows ! lol
You made my day, Dennis! It's so good having you back to keep us in line. Cheers to you!
