EDIT: Two newest with all gold metallic trim and added a berry bottom star; they are the last photo...Holly Mug Rug/Coasters..Chris Pennifold, you were on my mind all day today! Thought these would be lovely on a holiday table. They are for the 5x7 hoop and are about 5" x 5.75"...the one with the green satin stitch border was my first test...I think it looks good....then I decided it might look a bit more festive with a gold metallic border...I like it!<br /><br />
Like the Daisy, I am showing the back..love that these are quilted through!

Oh dear! Now I'm feeling guilty about not starting on my Christmas gifts. This is a great project! I can envision a lot of uses for this besides being a coaster. Would be nice attached attached to a placemat, or a decoration on a package, or attached together to make a mantal decoration. Nicely done!

You've done it again, an outstanding design! They would look lovely scattered on surfaces all through the house for a holiday party with no worry of rings left from glassware. I love how the points are so neat, with no stray threads or fibers sticking out. How do you do it?

Thanks so much..These are "finished" around the satin border with a hot stencil cutter tool that I run along the edges...it smooths away any "pokies" that might be left over from stabilizers...It allows me to use a tear-away sometimes instead of a WSS

Seeing those violets gave me the same idea, so during my vacation I too digitized some flowers which I have yet to test. Doing ITH designs there's always the dilemma, quilt through and do an satin stitch outline or stitch the outline and turn them.
These pointy leaves would be hard to turn and the gold satin stitch gives them that little extra.
Again: great job!
