Vent! I have been in air conditioner h-e-double hockey sticks since we first turned it on in March. The unit on the right side of the house wouldn't work. We called a/c repairman and the 3rd time they repaired it, they said I needed an electrician. Electrician said I needed a complete new electrical service to the house. When I let him know three weeks later that he would be in a bid process, he refused to bid. Seems he may have misrepresented my problem! Next electrician said I needed a carpenter. Carpenter came and did his work and this week I have had a/c guys out, Monday, Tuesday, and guess what - they'll be back tomorrow. We fixed one unit only to have the upstairs unit go out (fan). I'm tired of meeting strangers at my home and paying them money to fix (or not fix) things. When this one is fixed, I'm going upstairs to sew and I may not come down for a few days! And - fair warning - I may not answer the phone!

Oh! Child i went through same awful thing last year with the heat pump and central air. The company said it was out of warranty and I had the saved paper work to show it was still under warranty. I ended up getting a new unit and all kind of free service for their mistake. Hang in there. Kay

So sorry you have had so many issues. We all know life is not fair and I am sure there are others with more serious issues. However trivial it may seem to some there are those that tend to take advantage of people. I feel for you. I also feel for the lady with the snarky post. I hope you were just having a bad day and i pray it gets better for you too. God Bless and happy sewing while you and your budget recover from the mess you have been thru.

I hope tomorrow will be a better day for you and all will be fixed. I do understand how you feel. Had things like that happen to me. It is so unsettling.

Awww just tell us about it and vent your frustration. Nothing upsets me more to have any repairman come say it's okay now and the very next day it's back to the same old thing especially when you have payed and arm and leg. Whatever happened to quality workmanship?/Lillian
