This bag is a challenge. I was given the pattern and screening and was told to follow the directions , and not to change a thing. While I did make a few changes, the design is from Embroidery Library, even that I had to change .I decided to make it a gift for someone.!

I love your bag! I just finished a mesh bag as well (and will post it later). I was wondering.... is this screening from the hardware store? Or do you buy this from a specialty fabric store? I embroidered on a purchased bag, but would love to make some similar to yours. Thanks for sharing your work.

I believe she said she purchased it at the fabric store. I have embroidered on window screening and didn't like the results, you really have to think about what you want to embroider since it can effect the screen itself. Because of this I chose to embroidery on the fabric this time!
I should let you know the middle (yellow ) after it was embroidered I lined the back so you don't see the embroidery on the wrong side.
Thanks for the tips. I like your idea to embroider on fabric strip, and have the mesh for the rest of the bag.
