Ich habe versucht eine neue Datei zu sticken, für meine Musikfreunde, das Ergebnis gefällt mir nicht.

Ich habe bei SweetPea angefragt was ich falsch mache da ich das Ergebnis für unsauber halte; ihr Kommentar die Datei ist in Ordnung ich sollte enger an der Applikation abschneiden, sorry mehr als das zwei Millimeter stehen bleiben kann ich nicht schneiden, vielleicht gibt es ja eine Schere die das kann, ich auf jeden Fall kann es nicht und finde das Ergebnis nicht gut.

Mir wuerde das auch nicht gefallen. Ob das mit Absicht war? Das design selbst finde ich auch toll und verstehe warum Du das gewaehlt hast,
Danke Angie, wenigstens eine die mich versteht . . das Design finde ich toll zumal in der großen Größe, wie du am U siehst ist es ausgefranst wobei ich schon sehr knapp abschneide - mit einer Pinzettenschere, aber verschenken kann ich das nicht, meine Freunde sind eine bessere Qualität von mir gewohnt, liebe Grüße, Maria

I had a close look at Alison's original piece on Sweetpea and this looks just like hers. I don't think it is meant to be neat and tidy so to speak, but very rough and untidy etc. as you have shown us here in your piece. I think you've done a great job, love Chris

hallo, ich finde das ergebnis nicht so schlecht. ich verstehe aber was du meinst, Um den stoff kürzer abzuschneiden gibt es wirklich abgeknikte spezialscheren. aber auch damit muß man erst üben habe ich festgestellt(besonders in den kurven. bin da auch noch nicht perfekt(übung macht den meister ;))

Hallo, ich schneide mit einer kleinen Nagelschere an der ersten gestickten Linie entlang den Applikationsstoff ab, meistens kommt dann bei solchen Motiven nochmals ein Geradstich oder es kommt dann ein Zickzackstich BEVOR die Umrandung (meist ein Satinstich) kommt.
Dieser überdeckt dann die Schnittkante des Stoffes. Also, abschneiden bevor du die Umrandung stickst . . .

Es seht so aus als ob es kein Satinstich gibt, aber eine dobbelt Linie oder ein Stich die meistens für Flache benützt wird. Das macht kurz zuschneiden wirklich schwierig. Ich denke dies ist "rough edge applique".

Tja, da hast du nicht richtig hingesehen, da gibt es kein Satinstich, der Stoff wird angenäht dann herausgenommen, eng an der Naht abgeschnitten, die Stickerei beginnt einen Millimeter innerhalb des Applikations-Stoffes, das heißt ein unsauberer Rand bleibt stehen - also kein Zickzackstich oder sauberer Satinstich- wäre zu schön.
Ja, tschulligung, du hast recht, da hab ich nicht richtig hingeschaut. Aber könntest du vielleicht die "Schneidelinie" nicht noch selbst digitalisieren? Finde das Muster auch toll, aber das "Gefransel" würde mich auch stören, Sieht nach "schlampig" gemacht aus.

I love it! It looks like graffiti and is very modern looking. This would definitely resonate with young people.

This is definately graffiti style and well done.......all it needs is a tag... I love the brick wall illusion like just like they do it.....I had a hard time with this style at first but it has now grown on me as all the little imperfections are what make it unique........great job.......

i like the wall to, and a tag is wonderfully fits to music, maybe I embroider another stroke on the wall, thanks for looking :-)

I really like it. My 8 y/o granddaughter just got a piano and they are looking into lesson so think she'd love a bag for lesson books with this design on it. If it had a little more fabric left raw on edges could even ruff it up like the chenille type designs and raggy effect. Hey, I'd take the design--he,he!

Looks great to me! Kids dig this kind of stuff. The "music" really looks like music!

I like it and am not usually drawn to the modern/graffiti look. The only thing I might try different is to do the M in another color .
