Well, my son's wedding is over and it was a gorgeous day! We had some light showers to start but took shelter under the pines. By the time the wedding started the showers had stopped. I did not make my dress, I was able to find a wonderful purple dress with lace and beading. After 3 hour drive, am very glad to be home.

Congratulations to the happy couple! Glad you found a dress that you liked. Your weather sounds like ours in the Pacific Northwest, the pines and firs always providing good protection and the smell of the trees during and after a fresh rain, is a smell I never tire of.
