Ray and I are considering ourselves extremely blessed that it didn't affect us this time Sarah.
Thanks so much for your wishes. It has been very bad the last few days with several drownings and many homes and businesses flooded and some homes, along cliff faces, overlooking the ocean being undermined and declared unsafe to occupy. Their back yards have been washed away, swimming pools and all, it is terrible.
hugs n roses, Meg

Thanks Sarah. We are on the Far North coast of NSW (almost Qld). We arrived home on Monday, just after the flood. Some of our sugarcane has been flattened by the rain and strong winds. We have been away for about 4 weeks travelling to Darwin in our 1928 Model A Ford to a car rally, 8,240km (a long way). Hugs Marg

Thanks for thinking of Us....The wind a rain was unreal. I live 1 Hr South of the QLD Border and we had 320mm rain over the weekend. Areas South of Us recorded 450mm rain.No damage for Us, enjoyed sewing on the Saturday, as it was too wet to go outside. State Emergency Service advised not to go out on the roads. Sunny days now....Janette
