I am wondering why when I download some Janome designs they look like they are so small with a thread running up to the right or fuzzy like DST ? I think that is the commercial format.

I bought some designs today and when I unzipped them some are weird others fine. Almost as if some are in SEW format. Could it be the stitch count?

I am thinking in future to download in PES and convert myself using Embird. Anyone else have this problem?

Hmmm, strange...is it the .Jef or .Jef+ format?

JEF format not +
When I put them into Embird I can see them correctly. Just wondering if it is a setting on the computer. Running on Windows 7.

Hmmm, if you see them correctly in Embird, where are they not showing correctly?
In my download section on the computer after being unzipped and in external Hard drive. In Embird looks normal.

I'm not at all sure what you mean - could you show us a screen shot of what it looks like in Embird?

Not sure what you mean by screen shot went to take a photo of the screen and Camera batteries are flat. Will look at doing it tomorrow.

If you don't know how to do a screen shot...you can open Embird Manager...go to Middle Panel...Export Image...use dropdown to select .Jpg and then save it...then you can post the image of the file image so we can see what you are seeing in Embird...

I learnt in Emb Class that Janome machines can be fussy. If it is being fussy/troublesome, then open the 'problem' design in your Janome embroidery software and save it.
This should clear up any problems when stitching out.
