At last have got all 6 cushions done using cutaway stabaliser which worked. First picture is of the other 4,second picture all 6. Disappointingly all the comment from my family is 'what are you going to do with them'?

Well done glad you persevered until you had it worked out. I had a friend who said things like that when I bought my first embroidery machine. But then she had no hobbies and wasn't creative at all.
You have done a wonderful job on these. If your family live with you tell them you are making more and going to do what the designers do on all those house shows on TV. Put 20 cushions on each Bed and when they go to bed at night will have to remove them. LOL

Not sure the fabric is called Bacall and from Laura Ashley in England. Its a bit of a basket weave. Must discover if it will wash!

piping is easy just buy a piping foot and you can't go wrong!

WOW those are lovely, I was leaning toward the bfly ones until I enlarged the pict twice and not I have more favorites. ;-).. The bow (non-emb) on the boot is a wonderful touch. Great job.
I would say you have a lot of Christmas presents made and hopefully they were all hoping for one but didn't want to be to obvious.
Know a lady who made an emb crazy patch quilt for a family member and the response was 'that is nice' ..

If you saw previous entry you will know that the bow on the boot is a cover up as I used tear away stabaliser which was wrong and things moved without my permission!
