Thank you toogie the whole thing is done with 4 inch strips and 4 inch squares in the middle then triangles for outer edge no blocks at all I did it twice begore I got it right I saw a picture of a similar one on the net and worked it out myself
Only one colour purple and one colour dark grey with a hint of light grey I think but am not sure that it was a simplicity or butterrick pattern I downloaded the picture sometime ago the pattern looked like it was done with raw edge applique
But I did not like it so did it my way I was very pleased re the outcome and my daughter loves it
The strips must be 4x8 or 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 that includes 1/4 in seams?
