The design for the card is embroidered on felt then stitched in white, using a fancy stitch from my machine, into the aperture cut in the card which I've used a decorative edge punch on. The "lace" is a self-adhesive paper trim which I bought ages ago from a Christmas card catalogue - I knew it would come in handy one day! The whole thing is then mounted on white A4 card, folded and trimmed to fit evenly.

Baby has arrived - three weeks late and weighing 8lbs 5ozs, which considering Mum is all of 4ft 10ins tall is quite a size!
