I made these while thinking about what to make. I added a layer of batting under the top even though it didn't call for it in the design. just gives it more body

I messed up the 1st one, the blue star is pulling away from the white middle so I made another, they were just a quick project to play around with
What did you do differently on the second one to keep the star from separating? From your pictures, they both look quite nice.
