Well the day has come. Joshua has had his temporary leg fitted. I am sorry that these photos are blurred but I have taken them from a video my daughter sent. Josh is walking well much to the amazement of the doctors. Early days yet.<br /><br /><br /><br />
Yesterday was just too emotional for words. Seeing Joshua walking again on his new lower leg was just fantastic. Thank you all for your words and prayers.

Wow - what a wonderful young man!! He is so brave - we are all so proud of him. I hope his amount of pain is minimal. But, I can't imagine that it is. Bless him! Hugs, Laura*

WOW! Sarah, how fantastic for Josh. I bet he is over the moon with this accomplishment. So many years of frustration and discomfort and to see him up like this just is a modern day miracle. I do pray that he will be pain free really soon. So relieved for you and all the family. Love Chris

Chris, he is totally pain free at the moment. The new leg is a little bit like a new pair of shoes or a denture. Takes time to get used to it.

I looked at Joshua every time I came on Cute. Sarah, I know how proud and in some ways, relieved you and Emma are, about Joshua's decision. The young man shows enormous courage and inner strength. I wish him all the best in life. Love to you both, Toogie & Avery!

Thank you Toogie. He was absolutely exhausted yesterday, mentally and physically. He actually took a cup of tea upstairs to his mum yesterday morning. He is going to be fine
