Is it still a towel topper if it is only a washcloth? The one done in the 5x7 hoop is too small to use anything bigger than a fingertip towel but I didn't have one on hand so I used a washcloth. I thought the hanger loop was disproportionate to the size of the towel/washcloth so I left it off and used ribbon for the loops, making it look like a little sundress. It is more fashionable than functional but I think it would be cute hanging in a bathroom.

I was thinking a clothesline with a few more hanging across a window in a girls room would be cute.

This one is my favorite. Two are too plain and two are too small to gather the towel in to the space allowed when you are limited by a small hoop. Someday when I win the lottery I'll get a bigger machine. Oh wait, I guess you have to buy tickets before you can win. Not gonna happen then. LOL

Face washers are fine for handtowels in awkward places. I do not have room for a handtowel in my tiny 1970s kitchen so I put handles on my face washers and hang them from the curtain rod. One a day as they are so small.
What I am trying to say is - washer is fine to use.
Looks cute.

Love it! Well done. If a little girl wants it for her doll, are you willing to sew the back as well ? lol
