Its been just over a year since we moved house. We are still working on it and I still have no sewing room so I patiently wait... Today my closet Cutie friend and I had a day out, (which was the first for about 2 years). We went to visit someone I met a few months ago who had bought a preloved embroidery machine but she couldn't get her PE design software to work. This has limited her to the few designs in her machine as the embroidery machine only takes a memory card and doesn't link up with a usb/cable to a laptop. While chatting the friend I had taken told the story of one of our days out where we bought about 40 brand new napkins which cost us about £5. As we left we were introduced to someone who had visited a mill yesterday and ended up with napkins which were too small for her crafting needs. We ended up looking in the back of someone's car and my friend spent £25 on - yes, napkins and tablecloths. The seller was delighted as she is living in a caravan and hiding the huge stash from her other half was difficult, especially as she had told them she hadn't bought fabric when she was away. It made a good end to our visit.

A plus point from our move is that I am a brisk two minutes walk from a beautiful fabric shop!
