It is a gorgeous quilt and to me it looks as if you used more pastel colors in one area. Light can be tricky. Even just ordinary light (not direct sun light) can leave it's mark. You are the only one that knows that the colors have changed. To others it is a beautiful quilt you have created and have done a expert job with.
