100th Birthday<br /><br />
It was my Aunties 100th Birthday last Tuesday. Due to car problems, road blockages and other reasons we were unable to get to the Nursing home for the celebration. Here is a photo which was in one of the local news papers of her with the local Mayor who presented her with the bouquet of flowers. Hope to get to see her when our new car arrives. Hugs

Can you imagine all the things she has seen in her lifetime and what changes she has seen in society. I'm an avid genealogist and do hope her memories have been committed to writing and saved for younger generations. Happy Birthday to her

She had had a very good life. Wrote her life story when she was 70. Has lots of things written down. She is such a darling. Hugs Shirley

100 sure is a great milestone. My DIL was here yesterday. She has just had her 50th. I showed he the picture of Auntie. She could not get over how well she looked for her age. We hope to get to see her soon. Hugs

I hope she missed us. I think she had 2 celebrations. 1 on the day and another at the weekend so all her grand, great grand and great grandchildren could be there.
