On Saturday morning I awoke to find a message from Bev (in Texas) with a link to this design which she thought I would like. I followed the link (to Australia) and bought the design. The cushion was made (in England) by lunchtime. Isn't the internet great?
It is grey because one of our favourite breeds is the Herdwick which is a hardy mountain sheep.

He looks great, sometimes you see a design that is just made for a certain person or yourself.

Looks wonderful! Love that grey sheep.
Yes, the internet is wonderful, enables friendships all over the world. Unfortunately criminals abuse it.

Beautiful - and yes what did we do before internet. What I like most is to be able to see and speak to my husband when he goes away working. The biggest challenge is the time difference.

I love this wooly sheep! Those eye lashes really give it a lot of character. I take the dogs sheep herding every week so my friends always keep an eye out for sheep items for me too.

I meant to add, that you often see our sheep a little bit grey or dirty, but in New Zealand all I ever saw was WHITE sheep, they don't have pollution over there. Love Chris
These grey Herdwicks live in unpolluted mountain areas. They are a tough breed, as is their wool!
It's not the pollution, but the breed and also where they live. eg. the wool takes on a red hue if the ground is red and brown if the ground is brown and so on. NZ has lots of green paddocks, so they keep clean.

Well Chris, when our children were younger we went to New Zealand looking for some white sheep, and we only found black, brown and similar colors to Oz. I will have to go back for another holiday and check them out. It is a cute sheep.

Yes, the wonder of internet never ceases to amazes those of us old enough to know what it used to be like.Your pillow is really beautiful.
We are shearing our sheep currently [I have just come back from the shed]. We have Merino sheep but keep one mob of ewes to mate with a Dorper ram so then we have some Cross-bred lambs to sell [these are really lovely to eat]
