Hello Cuties, I'm back! You thought you were rid of me, I'll bet-lol-This is what I've been making, baby bedding/set. Not my favorite cloth (camo) but my grandson and his wife wanted this, for their baby boy's room, baby due in October. This is Real Tree Max 5 duck Camo.

When Caleb asked me to make a bed set, he told me the crib skirt and the bumper pads (with this camo) was $300!! He asked me if I COULD make it, and WOULD I make it, for under that. I found the Max5 online and ON SALE and I made all this for around $200.

I made camo valance, roll up shade, quilt, 2 sheets and have enough fabric for another, organizer basket, crib bed skirt, and bumper pads. (I hope I haven't forgotten anything)

My husband, and oldest daughter Marsha, made the memo board for all the baby photos! She came over and I was working on the shade. When I told her Taylor wanted a memo board, she said she had made one before. I said good, you can make this one!-lol- My husband helped her hold and staple the ribbons taut.

I told Caleb I would make it but, would I be thrilled to make it?.....no....I didn't hurt his feelings because he knows how I got so tired of sewing camo, having at that time, only 1 grand daughter and the rest grandsons. It really is a prettier camo than the old camo print. I tell him I love the log.

Well, I hope you like my sewing projects, as well as he and Taylor did. Have a great week-end. Toogie
Today my son and grandson went to the lumber yard to get supplies, for my son to make a wardrobe cabinet, for the baby. They worked on it all day but I know it is a slow process. Not only the building of it takes time, but waiting for things to dry, after its made, takes time.
When Mason was born 12 years ago, my son made my daughter a chest of drawers for him. My son did a really good job and Mason now uses it in his walk in closet. He also made his wife a glassed in curio cabinet. Just draws out what he wants and makes it.
Hugs, Lidia
I know we both, and other Cuties too, will make whatever our family ask, out of love for them even if we'd rather make something else.
Thanks again-Toogie
