Four years ago the Olympics were in the UK. It doesn't seem like four years but it is as three grandchildren have appeared in that time. My younger daughter and I did get to watch the Womens Cycling road race. The day started in beautiful sunshine and by the end of the day we were soaked. The link shows the two of us together at the start of the day. Our flag definitely got us onto a train to get back to the car earlier than we would have done with out it and the rest of the family were able to catch us on TV. Memories. Anyone giving up sewing for this years Olympics

Great photo from last Olympics. Four years seems to fly by faster and faster, doesn't it? I'm having to work, but will catch all I can of the Olympics a little later.

Great to be able to look back to a special day.
I am fortunate having a TV in my Sewing room. I doubt I will give up sewing but will enjoy watching at the same time. Best for the FSL projects.

What great memories you have and treasure. No, I won't give up stitching nor will I watch much of the Olympics. Too much politics etc for me. I loved watching before the Olympics became more professional sports. But I am praying for all the workers and participants and those watching in the stands. I'm very concerned about violence this time around.

yeah well, I missed the gymnastics last night. I was so tired I could not stay up for the late edition.
