Did you ever have one of those projects when nothing went right. I was putting this adorable "not my monkeys" design from Urban threads on a tee shirt for my granddaughter. It stitched out flawlessly but when I went to take it off the hoop I noticed two big mistakes. One, the placement was too low on the shirt and second the hem of the tee was caught in the design. I had no choice but to cut it off. In the second picture you can see the section that I had to cut off and how I managed to cover it by editing a free design from daily embroidering to fit the gap in the hem. The low placement problem was solved by editing a four pennant string into a sis pennant string and adding the text. Pretty creative save, huh. But next time I will be more careful. It was a lot of extra work.

You did a fantastic save; if you had not told about your problems I'd thought this was what you intended!

Couldn't been any cuter if you had planned it this way. Great save.

Welcome to cute. You have done an awesome job. Congratulations! We learn from our mistakes. We learn how to cover them up and how not to do them again. Great job/Lillian

I too would have NEVER thought of this as a mistake! I think it is so much better than just the original design on the shirt. Perfect!!

I love the monkey at the bottom - you have a much classier T-shirt than you would have had without the accident!

Fabulous great save. I don't care how long we've been embroidering, we've all had to try 'saves'. Well worth it.
