OK, cuties, this was my project I worked on last night and this morning.........I have some more sets of these to do if they are popular......this set is called Paperdoll Amanda....
I used heavyweight cutaway and fabric on top, then I stopped the machine just before the satin outline and put fabric on the back......I used fray check around them, then cut them out after they dried......I thought this was a good place to use my snaps....next set I will pierce all the pieces at the same time so the snap is in the right place on all pieces......I had a devil of a time matching the character pieces to the doll as I had done that one first......I used my 10x10 hoop and got them all on in one hooping.....This set will be up on my website tonight......the 1st pic is before the satin stitch and I attached the backing...2nd pic is the backside after the satin stitch, 3rd pic is the whole set and last pic is Amanda with an outfit on......you can see I got the snap too low on the Panda head as it should be a bit higher above her eyes......
But I think the snap should drop on the mask so the snap's button is more in line for a nose for the panda. This would make it a touch higher on the dolls head and she would see out from under. Many kids would rather have their masks not cover their eyes. So they would understand its placement.
