Lbrow, I read your answer about what to use for a lining to make my towel bag water proof. What is Wally's world, and what weight of plastic do you use? Thanks.

I never heard it called that in Md. Also, some of them in Md. are no longer carrying fabric.

I think she may be referring to WalMart. At least that's what we call it around here. If they have a fabric dept. they do carry several weights of plastic on rolls. Good luck in your hunt.*4U

I'm so sorry. Wally world is WalMart. I'm just so use to hearing it called that around here. I really dont know what the weight of the plastic is. I never looked I just walk over feel it & buy it I'll b going there tomorrow I'll look & see. It's not a heavy wt. but it's thick enough you cannot wad it up in your hand & it sews well. I've used it to line backs of bibs.for plastic windows in wallets etc. They usually have it on a stand in rolls of different thicknesses & just pull the roll off the stand & meas. what I need I pay only a dollar & something a yrd. 4 it. but bet it 's gone up in the past mo. everything else has.

Now if we can just get Target to open up a sewing dept, I'd be in heaven. Wally's World is a little hard for me to handle! :-)

Simplyrosie, That would be great. There are so few stores that carry any sewing supplies, There are so many sewing now that I think it would be worth their time. Hugs and flowers.
