Must be time for a drink as it's 5.00 o'clock somewhere! Actually it's already 5.13 as I write this oh! well, I'll just have to go and have a drink!

Been home this arvo sewing out my FSL Holly Christmas tree decorations for the ladies luncheon in December. As you can see I used 2 pieces of WSS, but only floated the second piece on to save some of it. Expensive stuff it is!

I bought 2 designs from Emb Designs. This one I prefer, I'll try the other one at a later date. They are both in the wreath shape. Love Chris

1. Is front view
2. Is the back view (looks as good as the front)

Looks really beautiful! I wonder what stabilizer you use and if it is FSL design or Applique but whatever it is it's lovely.

OH just read. You gave the explanation above. So my questions are answered and I agree WSS is expensive and also I try to save the material! Thks again - Maria

Hi Maria, I mentioned in the 2nd paragraph that I used 2 pieces of WSS (water soluble solvy). I've also put that it is an FSL design in the same paragraph and under the picture in the TAGS. Love Chris

Your wreath turned out terrific. It will look wonderful on your tree this year. It's hard to believe we are already coming down the stretch toward Christmas again. The summer is flying by much too fast.

When doing FSL I always use the same thread in your bobbin as is on the top. Plus it helps to have a well digitised design!!! Luv Chris

Beautiful Chris. Such sparkle to the threads.
I save all my scraps of WSS and put them in between the two layers.
Good way to use up scraps and makes the ornaments a little stiffer. Like you say, this stuff is so expensive, so I try to use up all the pieces in my FSL designs.

I hear ya Jerri, you are right. I have stacks of pieces and even bought some special thread to put bits together, haven't done it so far!!! Love Chris
