Look who came to visit me this afternoon. I think the Real Estate in this area is at a premium!!!!!! he he he.

These Kookaburras always come round just before Spring which in Australia begins on the 1st September, I think they are just checking to make sure the place is still available.

Can't wait to see how many baby Kookaburras this Kookaburra family has this year. There are always 3 - Mum, Dad and a sibling from last year's babies. Love Chris

1. Mother bird (I think!)
2. The other birds in back reserve.

What a great homecoming you have each year. The joy that they share with you is your hostess gift. :)

That is wonderful! You have good outcomes with your family. maybe a webcam is in order. They are so affordable these days and then the world can watch with you! It also means winter is heading my way. Lol!

Home Sweet Home! Kind of like the Swallow returning to Capistrano every hear at the same time...

Nice sign of spring. Enjoying the seasons here, too. (Hoping for cooler weather in the fall.)

Smart Kookaburras. They know how good the place was last year. Must be fun to watch. In my yard the most fun bird is a Hummingbird. They will sometimes hover a foot away from me as if they want to look in my eyes.
