Cuties, I have some exciting news!<br /><br />

About two weeks ago or even less than that, my oldest daughter Marsha told me she wanted to start embroidering. Yea! She said she was thinking of buying her the 4x4 like my little one from Walmart Brother SE425, to start out. I said go for it as my first one Brother SE270D worked like a workhorse, and she needed a sewing machine, too.<br /><br />

Well.....she mentioned this to her neighbor/friend down the road. Her friend Michelle said," just take mine." She said she had it two years and only made her french door curtains on it.Michelle said it sewed t-o-o s-l-o-w. <br /><br />
Marsha went over to see about it and told Michelle she didn't want to use the foot peddle just the push button, to sew. When Marsha slid the slide over for the medium and fast speed, Michelle asked what did she do? It was so slow before!-lol-She had it set on the slowest speed and using the foot peddle, she said she had it to the floor!-lol<br /><br />

She told Marsha then, "You are surely taking it, as you know more than me already. When you practice enough to decide which one you want, send mine back and TEACH ME!"-LOL-Michelle said she was afraid to touch any of the buttons or slides-lol-afraid she would mess things up.<br /><br />

So Marsha ordered her 160 spool set and a neon color set, of 10 or 12, after playing on Michelle's machine pictured. <br /><br />

The RACK her dear daddy, who just happens to also be my crafty hubby (lol), made for her. She still has room for more spools! I think he said it holds 206 spools! The top row holds 14 and the other 12 rows holds 16,on each row.<br /><br />
The last picture was all the pay/thanks he wanted. <br /><br />
The one in the second photo was the one he made me over 10 years ago, when I first got my embroidery machine. Mine holds 156 spools, of 1100 mm thread spools.<br /><br />
He is already making another. Someone else saw Marsha's and wants one. She said she would pay him to make her one. I thought he was making it for her and he just told me, he making it for me (!) and I can sell her my 156 spool one, if she wants it.-lol-<br /><br />
He thinks she won't want to give him more than his supplies, as they ran nearly $40. He bought #1 grade lumber and the spool racks and framing are all 2 inches wide, so it's not flimsy. It took 19 dowels!!! Not counting the sweat, time and electricity for the saws. I almost forgot the 1 1/2 inch paneling nails.-lol<br /><br />
The one he has cut out now is different, but should still hold 206. He's making it wider and not so tall. If it's hung above your table and it's taller, it's hard to reach. Well, this will be his third to make, so pretty soon he'll know how-lol- or he says we need to make up our minds, how many threads spools we need.<br /><br />
