GOD IS SO GOOD! Cuties, I know I don't have to tell most of you that, you already know, but I have to sing praises to Him. This was a blessing that was needed and He knows our needs, right?

I hope you read the whole story and I'm sorry for the length, but you know me well enough by now, never short of words-lol-If I can just get these photos to load...

With having 4 kids, a job and husband Ashley has very little time for Facebook friends, online anything. Well Sunday afternoon she got on. umm...wonder what/who made her think to get on at this time?

She saw a posting, by someone she knew, for a used van for sale. She contacted the lady. She said no, it wasn't her van, but a van of an elderly lady whose husband had died. The van was an older van but well taken care of. In fact, a 2005 Toyota Seneca LE with 70 something thousand miles on it! The elderly lady had purchased the van, from the original owner ( a doctor we know), because her husband had Parkinson's. She didn't want to get rid of anything after her husband died so she kept the van for a year and a half.umm...wonder what/who made her think to sell it at this time.

After contacting the seller, whose family are Christians by the way, it came to be known that they knew my SIL's family, too.The lady was hoping that when she did sell it someone would benefit from the special seat it had.

You see the seat I'm in, in photo one? Ashley told me to get in, this is to be Avery's seat. I said in the front? Well, look. It's all the way down here in first photo. It lifts up and then swivels inside, all by remote control! This is so great for Ashley, especially and my husband with the bad back.

It was getting so hard for Ashley to climb up onto her running board on her SUV, lift Avery then step back down with her. Then do the same to load her in. Let's face it, we have a growing girl here-lol- (Ashley fell backwards off the running board when she was pregnant, but not with Avery.)The seat has a cover to protect the real seat and it needs replacing. All the seats even this one have no stains. The middle 2 seats and the full back seat looks like no one ever sat in them!

Anyway, I cried because I was so happy for them. This will help Avery, Ashley and Grayson or anyone loading her. Of course, that was when I saw the feature of the seat.

Then I saw the back of the van had the rack for the wheelchair, which Avery has but it looked different. They said they were leaving the rack on for them! The last 2 photos are the Toyota Seneca Le van, with the man's rack and the 2012 Ford Expedition with the wheelchair rack they just bought a few weeks ago. Ashley said they will be selling the Expedition. I know they hate to see it go. I sure liked the leather seats and rides so good on a long trip. Oh well, you make exceptions, (I didn't want to say sacrifices,as I do think this is better overall) for your child.

Then, if you can stand even more good news, they said they only had to give $7,000. for this equipped for Avery, 70,000 mile, 11 year old van! I cried again and made Ashley cry, too.

I'll tell you, if you haven't already believed it so, but God's timing is perfect. Ashley hadn't been online for awhile. The lady waited almost 2 years to sell it.The van came equipped to meet Avery's needs, at this time. He said, if we believe, accept Him as Lord and Savior and follow His ways, He will meet our needs.

Please be happy for our children and say a special prayer of thanksgiving, to the Wonderful Amazing Savior we all have.-Toogie

ps.#1 is seat all way down with Avery's Gram in it and Mom on remote

#2 Mom with seat all way up but still out

#3 is seat swinging inside-Cover needs to be replaced (but I think I can do that), ugly and torn

#4 Back of Toyota Seneca Le they bought with the wheelchair rack lady included. Unfortunately, it doesn't fold up like Avery's new one, so they will take the new one off the Expedition, to replace this one. SIL may use this one on his car, if needed. Sorry, for the blurry photos but just had to show you!
#5 is Avery's new rack, still on the Expedition, folded up
All photos were last night, as they bought it after Ashley got off work. See she is still in her scrub uniform. The lady's DIL is a notary so that helped with the time of sale. They didn't have to take off work to deal with this.....there goes that time again...Isn't His ways/ timing mysterious.
God's timing is perfect! Thanks for sharing with us!
God is good.
Enjoy the new-found freedom
Lotsa Love

I agree with you too. The woman was led to this time. Time to let go and feel good, that she helped this family, by letting go. He (God) made her adjustment easier, by doing so.
Well, I am staying busy when one thing or another. I have a list (in my head-bad place to keep it I know-lol) of things I want to make or emb before my trip. Immediate things are making and emb Avery's bibs and emb Rylan's diaper bag. He is due in October, but shower in a few weeks. Oh, I need to post those photos they text me, of the baby bedding I made. My son and his wife bought the bed, it's their first grand-baby. My grandson and wife set up the baby's room with the things I made. I need to show you all.
I am so happy for them. Anything to help the caregivers, I am thankful. Avery goes everywhere with them, as do all the kids, so its really useful. Avery has a busier social life than me!-lol-she has always loved being around people and especially loves to hear the children play/laugh. She loves music. She is a sweet child and I hope her personality doesn't change, as she ages.Thank you for taking the time to read about this, for being happy for my family, and a good Cutie friend.-Toogie
so happy for them.
There is an old Irish blessing worded something like this:
"If God leads you down a stony path, may He give you strong shoes".
I believe He is doing this for your family. Prayers also for Him to continue to care for you and your family's needs.
