My youngest daughter Emma (Joshua's mum) is being posted to Dubai late August, early September. She has had a tough life, bringing up two boys on her own. This is an offer that she would be mad not to accept. It looks as if it will be for five years. She seems to spend most of the month in Dubai already. She will now work three weeks there and then come home for a week. Joshua will be going with her. He will look for a job and if there is nothing he will have to come back to South Africa. His younger brother will stay here as he still has another year of school. Masses of friends and my eldest daughter will be keeping an eye on him and he is having driving lessons at the moment so he can take over Joshua's car.

Joshua is beyond excited. Emma will take leave when they get to Dubai so she can show Josh around so he knows whats what.

Emma has worked so hard for this opportunity and feels that it is her turn now. I am so proud at what she has achieved, especially with all the problems with Josh and his leg. Go get'em Em.
Forgot to add that I am flying up to Johannesburg to see them before they leave. I have not seen Josh since Christmas and I am longing to see how he is getting on with his prosthesis. I have seen masses of pictures but is is not the same.
