Update: I just finished talking to Ebay. I have to wait five days for the seller to send a return label If he does not Then Ebay will send a return label to me. Either way I do not have to pay for this machine. I will continue to look for a machine this time I will be more careful.

Thank you all for your concern. this is a great site. I will be looking for a new machine soon. I like Brothers but there is not brother dealer close to me I live in Orlando /florida Anyone in this area knows a Brothers dealer. i have a Viking dealer in Jo Ann Fabric the lady is very nice but I have heard so many negative reviews I am afraid to buy one.

I think there is a brother dealer in Oviedo. You could also inquire at the Brother site.

Not sure what size hoop you are looking for, but if its 5x7, check Walmart out. I got the Brother PE770 for a really good price and have had no problems with it at all.

I have a Viking, actually 2, and have had good results with them. I am reading where all machines seem to have some "lemons" in the line! Do check with your Viking dealer at Joann's & see if anyone has traded in a machine that you can get with a warrenty. I have an SE and the first Diamond out. Both were made in Sweden...the newer ones made elsewhere seem to be the ones everyone's having trouble with. Just a thought.
