Been working on the dresses for the orphanage in Haiti. Here are 16 that I have gotten done so far. sizes range from 4-10 yrs. So what do you think?

Thank you dear. Not awesome just trying to do what I can to make some one happy. The reward is seeing the happiness on their faces on video wearing their new dress when they go to church on Sunday

He's about the same but unable to get out except to Dr. So I stay busy sewing,crocheting. Try to ,any way,cannot stay on my feet for very long at a time. Do a little, sit down. Sewing , embroidering you can sit..

Thanks Kay. This year G daughter has purchased a pair of FIP flops for each so they will all get a new dress and new shoes. F.F. are only shoes they have and most don't even have them

Thank you. I usually get to see a video of some of them wearing their dress and they will be wearing the biggest grin. You can see how happy they are to get their dress

No Carolyn none of these are the pillowcase dresses. In the past that is what I have always done. Wanted to do something different this year. Actually I found the little peasant dresses(ones with the sleeves) and the ones with jruffle at top make up faster than the pillow case dresses. Found this out when making G. Grand daughter one... Love you

No Raelene. The ones with sleeves are called Peasant . The ruffle top, saw at thrift store went home and made one. The others, Fabric already shirred with elastic part way. 1 seam and then make straps.
The necks all have elastic in them
