I had the best day ever today. My kids bought me a helicopter ride for my 70th birthday, which was in January, but I had to wait for the right day. We toured over Seattle, Wa. My Daughter is on the left, me in the middle and my GrandDaughter on the right. One thing checked off on my Bucket list. <br /><br />
It was an awesome day and well worth waiting years to do it.

Yes, I live in Vancouver, BC area, but my daughter lives in Everett. Going over Seattle area was beautiful.

You are one brave lady!! I fly in airplanes, have flown in a hot air balloon, but for some reason would never put foot in a helicopter!! But so glad you got to do another thing you wanted!!! (and yes, I know hot air balloons are probably more dangerous than a helicopter!)

No it wasn't scary at all. I did get a little nervous when he banked the helicopter to the left on a turn, as I was on the left, but do try it if you can. I would like to zip line next. I live in Vancouver, BC area and we have a few zip lines, but the one I would like to do is up in Whistler, BC. My GD did a bungie jump for her 16th, but don't think I will try that. Would also like to do a White Water Raft trip. Time and money, but will wait and see.
Touching a lion...not in my bucket list. But love Koala's and have collected them for many many years, so would really love to see and hold one.

If you can check into it in your area. My kids got the tickets through Groupon...a lot cheaper than I thought. Would have done it years ago, if I had known how reasonable it was.

You are braver than me, so not a desire I have-lol- I use to fly (in airplanes) and loved it, but kinda have a fear of helicopters. I'm so glad you got to do this! Now you're off to do some zip-lining? Oh, you are the daredevil!-lol-So glad you're enjoying life-Toogie
