The last of our family get togethers for a long time. Emma and her son Joshua will be leaving for Dubai on Tuesday. I am in Johannesburg to say good bye. We all met up in a local game park and had a wonderful time.

Thank you Kim. I still do not know what Josh will do. Funnily enough he was offered a job here in Johannesburg last week.

I hope you get to travel to Dubai to visit them at least once. But you have wonderful memories of a great family reunion and you know that Joshua is doing fine now. God's timing is perfect! I hope we get to hear updates now and then.

How wonderful that you got to give hugs and kisses before they left. Start saving your change for your visit to see them soon!

Lucky them, Fabric shopping in Satwa. 12-15 DHS per mtre. Classic Quilts with Mala is just so good. and then there is Craftland and Paperlane all on Jumarai Road.

Thank you for the info. My daughter is not interested but I will definitely want to look for materials when I eventually get there.

I've always hated good-bys, but you will be seeing them again in a little while I'm sure. It is a wonderful opportunity for Emma. Hope Joshua likes it. Life I know is now better for him. So glad you were all able to get together before their departure/Lillian

What wonderful memories for you Sarah. I can't see Ben, was he elsewhere when the family shot was being taken? I can't believe how close you are to that Cheetah, is it tame? I'd love to go to a park like this and see the animals in their 'natural' habitat!

Please send my love to Emma and the boys. I know Jared will be well looked after back in South Africa whilst Mum and Joshua live in Dubai. Great shopping there, I had a ball in the fabric markets! Love Chris

Ben was hiding behind us. Going through a bit of a bad patch at the moment. His number one toy is the kangaroo you gave him. Kanga was with us at the game park!!
The cheetah was in a separate sanctuary for animals who have been hurt or very young. The cheetah is 2 years old and is too tame to be sent out into the main park. We had great luck seeing buffalo and rhino. It was just a wonderful day.
