I have 12 days left on my V8 software trial, so thought I had better check out the photostitch feature......I love the look...I stitched this on a onesie for Andi.....this design is called Little Blessing and will be on my website tonight...<br /><br />
I used 3 shades of gray and the last stitching was black..<br /><br />
the text can be left off as it stitches last......

Nicely done...any verdict on purchasing the license for the V8 software or just keeping what you have?

whats your thoughts on v8 software? I am thinking of getting one.
I am going to talk to a vendor who sells it and I need to have a few ?'s answered....one thing is my Melco software doesn't recognize this version of pes, so when I convert a design to jef for a customer, I have to use version 7 to convert to pes then I can go to Melco software and convert the pes to jef........so if they can't figure it out for me, no, I will not buy the upgrade, as I need to be able to convert to jef when I need to......I love some of the new features though, but prefer the old portfolio to the new library, just due to the things I need to do for my business....and I find the software still crashes, just maybe not as much??????
Thanks. I was under the impression that you are using bernina software 8. I know fact that bernina software does not use jef format. The software 8 has the capability of digitizing a picture once it is been scanned in.It is fairly new , I have yet to get to used to the software 7. I keep looking. By the way, your design on baby was perfect.

Nicely done! I've been a chicken about doing photostitch. Since yours came out so nicely, maybe I'll give it a try. Were there a lot of jump stitches?

Oh, don't be chicken........yes, there are jumps, as with the photostitch I can't program the starts and stops for each run, but I didn't think there were that many......I have a more filled one that I am going to try later today....
