Hopefully , Bev.......we plan to use as a vacation spot, then retire there.....it is so peaceful...the trick will be getting all the cats down there......oh boy!

Wow.............that is some project. Showing my ignorance but am I correct in assuming that AR is one of the American states? I like the idea of leaving the rafters exposed...........nice touch.

Thanks, Sarah.....Jim took 2 years gutting the inside and now the rebuild starts...I wish there was more of the slat flooring, but it is just down the middle.....I would love to have restored it, we will just install hardwood throughout....makes it easier to clean up after the kitties..

It will be stunning and worth all of the time and effort to get to retire in it. You have my empathy. I had to move our cat twice and it was no fun.

Well it took 2 years to gut it........hopefully in another year we can at least start using it while we continue to work on it....
