In one of my posts, Toogie asked how my daughter and Josh were doing in Dubai. They are busy looking for a flat in the Marina area (photo #1). Josh resetting his prothesis (photo #2). Josh and his mum (photo #3).
Josh will be coming back to South Africa at the end of September - all due to permits and visas. He will then go back mid October. I hope Josh manages to find a job as he has really settled in Dubai and loves it.

They are beautiful pictures. it's great to see the two of them happy and settling in. I'm glad it won't take Josh long to rejoin his mom. Best wishes for the two of them and I hope you are able to visit them once they are settled in.

I love the expression that you used about his "adult face"! I taught teens for 20 years and when I saw them years later, they looked so different, and that's what happened--they got their adult faces. I'm gonna try to remember that.

Who wouldn't want to live, overlooking that beautiful marina! I'm happy Joshua likes it there, sometimes moves are hard on the children although, Josh is no longer a 'child'. They sometimes don't want to leave their friends.
Will he be staying with you the weeks he has to leave Dubai? I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me feel, to see him and Emma looking so happy. I hope Emma still can ride horses there..... I wish both of them, nothing but good days ahead.
I just pop in a few minutes at a time. Have the 4 kids and Ashley, till Sunday. All the kids are bathed and fed so here I am.-lol-Toogie

No Toogie, he will not be with me as I am 1300 kms away from his home in Johannesburg. I think Emma is missing her horses too terribly

Wow, I remember this beautiful place so vividly. Dubai is one amazing city and I know that Emma and Joshua will settle down really well. I hope he can find a job as soon as he gets back there too Sarah. So glad to see him looking so good, life is good. Love Chris
