I have been waiting all week for my grand-daughter to send a picture of her with her new sewing bag but first week of grade 12 & she is very busy. so I decided to post it today & maybe when she gets around to sending me a photo I will add it here too

this is the bag I made for her & I used the design from Urban Threads & Embroidery Library.
I was given so many gr8 ideas for her sewing bag for school that I was inspired to make this ith pin cushion too. below is a picture of goodies I put in her bag

Well done good selection of tools. Can I ask what is the item between the needle threaders and the pen?

oh that is really neat little gadget it has a tape measure (the button in the middle rolls out) & in one end it has a magnifying glass & tweezers & the other end it has a thread cutter, stitch ripper & a screwdriver. thanks for your help too ~hugs~

Very nice gift. I want one of those neat gadgets. I remember my first sewing kit and I still have most of it. My Mom helped me with it and that was over 40 years ago.

What a great selection of sewing goodies that you put together for your granddaughter. Please may I ask how old 12th grade is?

Lovely bag to keep it all in

Hi Caroline, In Australia the 12th grade is our last year of school. Most students are either 17 or turning 18. I don't know if it is the same in America. Love Chris
by asterixsew 16 Sep 2016
Year 12 in the UK is 16-17. Year 13 is the last year at 17-18 yrs
by pldc 17 Sep 2016
we used to have grade 13 like you but they took it away so now the last year before college or university is grade 12. Like Australia.... Thanks Caroline, very much ~hugs~
