Hello Cuties, I have been wanting to post this for days and every time I get interrupted.<br /><br />

I bought this real machine for my little grand-daughter to learn on. I wanted to start her in a few more years. She is too little to work the scissors with those little hands and can't bear down on the rotary hard enough to cut.<br /><br />
Anyway, her mom said she wanted to make herself a new taggie. She called her first one Tag and lost Tag, between church and the other grand parents. We thought she was ok without it. WRONG<br /><br />
So, Nora and I picked out the ribbons. I pinned them and told her to stop sewing when she first reached a pin, so we could take the pins out, as not to break the needle. Well, I think she sewed over 3 pins (missed hitting with the needle, thank goodness) but then she was pretty good at watching closely and stopping after that. <br /><br />
The whole time sewing though, she would lean her head back against me and say,"I love you Gram". She must have told me 20 or 25 times. I nearly cried as I could have made her one before now. We didn't realize she missed Tag so much, it nearly broke my heart. <br /><br />
You see that bigger blanket under Tag in the second photo? Look at the satin binding. She has rubbed it so much she has it all balled up. When she gets sleepy, we see her rubbing the ribbons, on her tag.<br /><br />
It will still be a while before she can make a whole project by herself, but she does show interest. #4 is stitching different stitches on scrap.<br /><br />

ps-added last three for bevintex to see Gus's blanket and horse a Cutie made and sent. I don't think I have a photo of his tag. I had to show Nora opening it for him.-lol - Last photo is Gus a couple weeks ago and I do believe he has his horse!.
