Crazy Quilt Block Table Mat/Hot Pad....One is "Plain" the other is "Fancy"...done ITH, strip and flip, quilted through, with a self-binding...This was a challenge project for my digitizing class...the instructor supplied several black and white drawings and we had to pick one and create a project from it. I am happy with the results...it will be interesting to hear his critique...It is about 8" x 8"..just used scraps from my stash...

Fantastic! I love crazy quilting and am feeling a little jealous of your ability to create such a wonderful block. Are all the stitches ME? Or are some from your machine's stitches?

Thanks, Penny...most of the "Crazy Patch" stitching are single motifs that I created and then repeated for the line of stitching...only a couple are from motifs in my software...
Thanks! All of the motifs are wonderful and compliment your fabric.

Great block, lovely colours and beautiful embroideries in the fancy one. Ever since I made the patched heart pincushion I posted years ago in DbC I try to work out how to digitise every quilt block I see, it is a challenge I simply can't resist.

Where is the plain one?....lol-They both are gorgeous! It may be a lot of work, but I bet you are having fun, in your classes. I know I would be,if only I understood how it all comes about. I could stitch the design, it's the understanding digitizing/computer language I can't comprehend......and I do speak English!-lol-Keep up the good work!-Toogie
