Hi Cuties, I've sewn the two halves together, but as Kim has suggested I'll try another time to place more fabric outside of the hoop to mirror image to have the designs all together. I've never done that before so it will be interesting to see if it works out.

In the meantime, on Saturday I sewed out the next design. This took ages again, 150 minutes plus, and nearly 50,000 stitches!!!! I'm not happy with this one as there were numerous jump stitches and my thread kept breaking, changed needles twice and thread too! I use a very fine bobbin thread which was wonderful and the Brother likes it.

We are on school holidays here in New South Wales now and I'm babysitting Amy and Steve's girls tomorrow. They are off to Canberra for Trev's Mum's 90th birthday next weekend. I'm staying in at their place to look after Maisie their dog. We can't have her here as our yard is not dog proof even though we have some makeshift fencing put up when she comes. She still manages to get out and as we are on a busy road, it was easier for me to stay at their place. We then leave on Thursday to go to Canberra ourselves and their neighbour will watch Maisie for one night. Steve comes back to Newcastle on Friday and we are flying Amy home on the Monday. We will then take the girls to Wollongong on Monday and come back to Newcastle on Tuesday. A wonderful break for all of us. Mum is looking forward to seeing us all.
